What is Adempas

Adempas (riociguat) is a prescription medication used to treat adults with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It is a type of drug called a soluble guanylate cyclase stimulator, which works by increasing the levels of a chemical called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the body.
