Side Effects and Dosage.

Cifrazol (cifrazole) is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic used in the treatment of a wide variety of infections. It is a member of the carbapenem family of antibiotics, and is structurally similar to imipenem. It is bactericidal and inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall.

Cifrazol is available as a tablet (250 mg and 500 mg) and injection (1 g). The usual dose of it is 1 g every 12 hours intravenously. The dose may be increased to 2 g every 12 hours if the infection is severe.

It  may cause side effects such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and headache. It may also cause allergic reactions such as rash, hives, and itching.
